Fuel calculator

Work out the fuel you need for your race, for free — litres on board, pit stops and fuel per stint. No account, instant result.

Your average race pace, not your best lap.

Measure it in practice, over a few laps at race pace.

In laps and/or litres — for the formation lap and the unexpected.

Good news: a single tank is enough — no fuel stop needed.

How the math works

The calculator first converts your race into laps: for a timed race, it divides the duration by your average lap time and rounds up — the lap started at the flag still has to be completed.

It then multiplies that lap count by your fuel use per lap and adds your safety margin (formation lap, safety car, traffic). Litres are always rounded up: better one litre too many than running dry on the last lap.

If the total exceeds the tank capacity, it splits the fuel into balanced stints and tells you how many pit stops you need and how many litres to add at each stop. The pre-filled values match a one-hour GT3 race (1:55 lap, 2.8 L/lap).
